Volleyball preview: La Porte v. Sterling

Baytown Sterling visits La Porte in District 21-5A volleyball action on Tuesday.

Sterling lost their last match in three games to La Porte, 20-25, 14-25, and, 20-25.The loss dropped Baytown Sterling to 11-17, and 3-4 in district play.

 

Four different players each had four kills for Sterling. Raegan Guidry, a 5’8’’ junior, has 65 kills on the season and leads the team with a 2.71 kill per game average.

 

Lillian Carroll, a 5’10’’ sophomore, leads the team with 80 total kills. Lacy Crenshaw is also an important player for The Rangers.She has 33 kills in just 17 games played.

 

La Porte’s victory over Sterling moved the Bulldogs to 22-8 and 6-1 on the year.
