Pasadena ISD's Community School marks 75 grads in first year
Community School’s graduation numbers will be on par with traditional schools when its year ends next month.
Students and staffed celebrated their 75 graduates earlier this month. Graduates were given framed pictures of themselves in cap and gown. Each picture was also hung on the school’s Wall of Honor, which is now dominated by the faces of the school’s graduates.
The school's director, Tom Swan, was presented with a vase filled with the names of the students who have graduated by teacher Tracey Brown. Brown gives credit to the success of the school to Swan.
The school provides morning, day and evening classes to students who dropped out of Pasadena ISD.
