League City Police Report, May 8
The League City Police Department reported the following incidents from Saturday, May 5, to the early-morning hours of Tuesday, May 8.
BURGLARY
May 5: A woman reported an unknown male broke the window on the front passenger door of her vehicle in the 1100 block of I-45 South and stole a wallet containing her ID and a credit card out of the glove compartment. The incident occurred between 5:45 and 6:20 p.m. Saturday.
May 5: A woman reported an unknown person broke into her vehicle in a restaurant parking lot in the 500 block of North Wesley Drive between 6:20 and 6:35 p.m. Saturday. A window was broken and a purse stolen from inside the vehicle.
May 5: A man says he saw who stolen an iPhone out of a vehicle in the 2200 block of Castle Drive between 8:30 and 8:54 p.m. Saturday. The man said the suspect is a 37-year-old female with blond hair, blue eyes and 5-foot-4.
May 5: Someone broke into a locked truck in the 100 block of Hobbs Road between 1 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday and stole the radio.
May 6: The front window of a residence in the 1600 block of Heather Springs Lane was broken between 1:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Sunday. Police say the damage indicated someone was trying to get into the residence.
May 6: The owner of a business in the 200 block of South Egret Bay Boulevard broke into the building through the back door between 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
May 7: A woman reported a black wallet stolen from her unlocked vehicle in the 5600 block of West FM 646 between 10:20 and 10:30 a.m. Monday.
May 7: A man reported an unknown person broke into his truck through a sliding glass door between 6 and 9 p.m. Tuesday, while it was parked in the 110 block of League Street.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
May 6: 12:36 p.m.: A man reported someone he knows broke out the master bedroom window at his residence in the 2500 block of Black Skimmer Court.
May 8: A woman reported an unknown person threw a brick through the front door of her residence in the 500 block of White Oak Point between 2:30 and 2:50 a.m. Tuesday.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
May 6, 11:32 a.m.: James Dillon, 44, was arrested on suspicion of DWI in the 1600 block of East League City Parkway.
HIT-AND-RUN
May 7, 3:53 p.m.: A woman reported an unknown vehicle struck her vehicle in the 2800 block of South Gulf Freeway between 1 and 3:53 p.m. Monday and left the scene without giving her any information.
IDENTITY THEFT
May 7, 9 a.m.: A man in the 4400 block of Grove Park Drive reported an unknown person charged purchases totaling $210 to his credit card.
May 7: A woman in the 800 block of Courtland View reported an unknown person used her credit card information to make several fraudulent purchases between April 20 and May 6.
INTERFERENCE WITH EMERGENCY PHONE CALL
May 5, 10 p.m.: Robert Britz, 49, was arrested on suspicion of interfering with an emergency phone call at a residence in the 1800 block of Rampart Street between 9:45 and 10 p.m. Saturday.
RECKLESS DAMAGE OR DESTRUCTION
May 7: A woman reported her ex-husband damaged the mailbox at her residence in the 6200 block of Brookdale Drive at about 10 a.m. Sunday.
ROBBERY
May 7, 3:33 p.m.: Jack Mancuso, age unavailable, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault of an employee at Walmart, 1701 W. FM 646.
THEFT
May 6, 5:30 p.m.: A woman reported her wallet was stolen from her purse while she was shopping at Wal-Mart in the 1700 block of West FM 646.
