Galveston Island group offers kayaking adventure
Kayaking trips will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, on Galveston Island, Settegast Road.
Guests are invited to celebrate nature and enjoy the dune/swale complex and wetlands that the nonprofit conservation organization Artist Boat is working to acquire through million-dollar grants and community donations.
Two-hour kayak trips will cost $25. Three- to four-hour trips are $50 with equipment provided and $25 if guests bring their own equipment.
