Clear Lake chamber backs Hobby Airport expansion plan

The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted recently to approve the expansion of William P. Hobby Airport to carry international flights.

According to a press release, the resolution passed by the board May 15 says, "The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce supports the expansion of the William P. Hobby Airport to support international flights, including a Federal Inspection Services facility accommodating Customs and Border Protection services … We support development that contributes to economic growth in the Clear Lake Area."
