Soccer star gets kick out of calculus
Clear Creek ISD is proud to honor Clear Lake High School graduating senior Kristen Lovejoy as CCISD Student of the Week. School officials said Kristen is a leader both on and off the soccer field. "She has always been positive in class and ready to do what was asked of her without any complaints," teacher Charlotte Digby says.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Three-Year Superintendent Scholar, National Honor Society member, District and Team Defensive Most Valuable Player in soccer, has been named to the Houston Chronicle's All-Greater Houston first-team. She was part of a team with seven seniors that finished one win short of the state tournament this spring. The Falcons lost to Deer Park in the Class 5A Region III finals to end the season with a 20-6-3 record.
