Jeanna Barnard named Bayshore Medical Center CEO

Bayshore Medical Center has named Jeanna Barnard as CEO.

Bayshore Medical Center announced Jeanna Barnard as the center's new CEO on June 13.

With 12 years of experience in healthcare leadership, Barnard has worked with HCA Gulf Coast Division since 1997.

“I am looking forward to my new role at Bayshore,” said Barnard. “I’m delighted to be part of the future of quality, compassionate and innovative healthcare services for the families we serve.”

Barnard, a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, earned both her master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Houston — Clear Lake. She succeeds Jeff Holland, who retired May 31.

“Barnard brings 15 years of experience and a solid record of achievements to Bayshore Medical Center and East Houston Regional Medical Center,” said Maura Walsh, president of HCA Gulf Coast Division. “Her ability to establish healthcare initiatives through comprehensive strategic planning will further elevate the level of care and growth at BMC and EHRMC.”
