During the camp, students will participate in exercises that focus on the elements of fiction and poetry, writing games, discussions on short stories and peer editing. Participants also will present a slam and read their work to parents and the community.

The camp will be lead by English professor David LeMaster, a prolific author who has written more than 50 short stories and plays.

Participants may register by calling 281-476-1501, ext. 1561, or emailing david.lemaster@sjcd.edu.
